Welcome, my friends, to my 300th post Hoopla. What an exciting journey this blogging adventure has been- from my very first post where I didn't know what I was going to do with my blog to this day, 299 posts later, where I ... still don't know what I'm going to do with my blog, haha.I asked in Sunday's post what ya'll would like to see for our celebration. Really, I have you guys to thank for encouraging me, informing me, reminding me to keep pushing on. That's why I want to offer YOU something special on this historic day (oh, and something about a president being sworn in today? yah, I guess that's kinda historic too).
From your comments and emails, this is what I have decided on... a combo of sorts.
All commenters will get a free party favor:
A custom-designed signature button (ooooh! aaaaaahhhh! so exciting!)To collect your prize, just leave a YES PLEASE in the comment section of this post. I will need to contact you about size, color, font, design, and wording. I will also need to email you the code (and instructions) once I design it, so I will need to either be able to respond to your comment (Mer has a great tutorial on how to set that up) or you will need to get me your email addy somehow. We'll figure that out for sure.
One lucky and observant person will get a prize:
A $10 gift card to Starbuck's or a Special Mystery Blog Gift (whoooo! so fun!)In your comment, leave your guess as to what the new thing is on my blog. I will do a name drawing from all the correct entries for either a $10 gift card to Starbuck's OR a bloggy gift that shall be disclosed after right answer is revealed. The winner can decide after hearing both options.
You may enter both or neither or a combination of the two.... it's all up to you. Depending on the amount of entries, I reserve the right to work at my own pace on the buttons (they really don't take that long, but I have some other deadlines I'm working on right now, too) and I will close all comments on Thursday, January 22 at Noon PST.

My guess for the other one, not that it's new-just something I never noticed before- (Thanks for the non-Starbucks option! I'd love a gift card for there but I doubt I'd drive 2 hours to use it.) is for the blogged linkety thingie. Never noticed that before.

As for the new thing - um, I should have printed your blog yesterday... I'm really guessing, but I think it is the "blogged" link at the bottom of your page. Everything else looks so familiar.

Ok, so after tinkering around trying (unsuccessfully) to figure out how to view a cached version of your blog, I just looked in Reader and realized that you changed your URL from hisgirlsblog.blogspot.com to hisgirlamber.com finally got your own domain, eh! Sweet! And you figured out how to keep the feed coming into reader without having everyone change the feed URL. I m truly impressed. I want to get the scoop on how you did that!
I'll take a signature, but mostly I need some consultation help with my blog's look.
