OH! Apparently I have a blog! Sheesh- I'll tell you the truth- I have so much to blog about that I've kind of frozen. Where do I start? What do I say? It's all a little too much. However, I suppose I'd better dive in or at some point I'll just curl in a little ball and never blog again.
(this is where you say, no! no! please don't go! and then I say, oh, okay if you insist...)
The only approach that seems to make any sense is to just do bullet points, get all the bizness taken care of, and then we can get back to the regular His Girl Style Bloggin' (whatever that is) with a clean conscience...
- First, let's talk Gretchen. What an incredible guest post she wrote, and what incredible comments ya'll left. I feel so thankful to know (and love) Gretchen, because I don't know that I've ever given proper thought to my part in supporting (and not hurting) my friends who are 'unequally yoked'. If you haven't yet, scroll down and read what she has to say. Beautifully written, with practical words of wisdom. Thanks Gretchen!!
- Next, I need to mention my B'day. It was awesome. I have a post in my heart that Wen has been begging me to tell, but Julie warns it's over the line. It's about a special medical test I took on my birthday... what do you think? Is there any story that's too much? What if it has a disclaimer? What if it's funny? Is it worth it?
- I also want to talk about my whirlwind trip to Texas, Gardena, and home again. Speaking at CC South Bay in my hometown is always special, since it was there that I first gave my life to Christ when I was only 9 years old. I learned so much at the C3 Kids' conference, but I'm just not sure how to blog about it.... I guess I could sum it up by saying I feel reignited to serve God where He's placed me with more passion, and to really run this race with more commitment. I imagine there will be more on this later.
- Random thoughts- My son turns 14 in a few days! I have short hair now! I'm 114 posts behind on the Google Reader! My girls are off track!
- Finally, let this be your reminder that we're getting ready to kick off the Seeking Him Together online Bible Study that I'm co-hosting with Melissa from Breath of Life. We'll be taking a roll call soon, and seeing who's joining us in this 12 week adventure. There is a Facebook group too- as soon as I learn how that works, I'll post here all about it. It's not too late to order a book... I've listed some places to do it in this post. If you're available to join, we'd love to have you- but no pressure intended... I know many of you are already doing studies of your own. My book came in the mail the other day and I just couldn't get over how excited I am!!! I think it's going to be a great time of growth and learning, and I just can't wait!!!
love you guys,

I love your blog.
Your son is turning 14? How can this be when you just barely turned 25? ;)
Glad your birthday was good and that you're back to bloggin'!
I'm glad you started by talking about me, because really, I'm most excellent blog fodder. Kidding. Thank you again for your kind words and for the invitation.
I cannot wait to be filled in on all the goodness since your b'day and the test and the trip. So hurry up, finish your laundry, play with your girls, and start dinner already.
14? How did that happen? I'm barely digesting the idea of 11 in June and 13 in July. And I'm already 40, so...I'm going back to bed.
Missed ya. Glad you're back!
I got my book in the mail a couple of days ago (thank you again!) and I'm ready for some studying!
Pics of the new hair? Perhaps?
You have been greatly missed!
I, too, am a fan of bullet points.
I, too, would like to see pictures of the new hair.
I, too, am a big fan of the Gretchen.
We all sound like revtrev
"I have too much to do to be busy"
I've missed you sooo much!!! Happy belated birthday!! Can't wait to see the hair and I say tell me a funny medical story and make my day.
Can't wait to hear about all the newness over in your world.
Wish I could join you in the online bible study. But with school I just don't have the time. My plate is full enough as it is. Please do let me know how it goes.. Oh and Post pics of your new hair look! I hear it's fantastic!
My book is on the way!
Do tell the medical story with a disclaimer. If you want you can defer people over to my post to see pics of your hair.
I love your blog and am considering your class. I am already taking one with someone else privately. I'm kind of like those people at the gym with the extra love handles. I would do better with a one on one spiritual trainer to make a dent. But I'll see....
Hair pics! Show us!
And I laughed when you said your girls were off track. I know you mean school, but it made me laugh.
And 113 unread posts in google reader is great. I was over 300 unread. And 12 of them are YOURS. Remedy-ing that right now. Can't bear to clear them without reading them.
Sande... "I don't have time to be busy" :) Now if I can only find time to write that book on the root of busy-ness :) @revtrev
